About the games

Animal Benchmark is a collection of original games about learning, memory and decision-making.

The tasks are freely designed for play and partly inspired by published animal cognition experiments. Layouts, rules, time limits, difficulty and scoring are our own adaptations, rather than exact recreations of the original experiments.

Results describe your performance in these games. They are not a validated measure of intelligence and do not establish a scientific comparison between a person and an animal.

The research notes distinguish the original findings from the game idea and link to the relevant sources. Animal Benchmark is in beta; game rules and scoring can still change.
