Same or different?
Spot the relationship in a set of images.
Try this taskSame, different, rotated—or just a decoy?
Pattern games reward the relationship between details. A display can contain mostly matching symbols and still be different. A shape can face another direction and remain the same shape. More dots can mean less live prey when some are decoys.
The pigeon tasks move from a visible comparison to brief exposure and rotation. Cuttlefish prey adds a different kind of filtering: identify which items count before you compare quantities. These tasks share visual attention, but their answer rules are deliberately different.
Spot the relationship in a set of images.
Try this taskThe image disappears. The relationship remains.
Try this taskRecognise the same shape from a different angle.
Try this taskDo not be fooled by size or decoys.
Try this taskOpen one task and read its goal and example before starting. Training lets you choose the task profile and tempo.
Each task has five rounds. Training allows one wrong round; one-life challenges require all five to be correct.

These are original game tasks, partly inspired by animal cognition research. The research notes link to the original papers and explain how our game ideas relate to them. Read the research notes.
